Dimanche dernier, alors que je rangeais mes tomates dans le réfrigérateur, je me suis aperçu d'un fait amusant : en japonais, tomate se dit to-ma-to, et s'écrit avec l'alphabet des Katakanas, avec lequel on écrit les mots et noms étrangers, comme ceci : トマト. Là où ça devient amusant, c'est que quel que soit le pays, sur un produit consommable, la police d'écriture est toujours un peu travaillée. Voilà donc ce que l'on lit :

Last saturday, while I was putting tomatoes in the fridge, I saw something really funny : in japanese, tomato is written to-ma-to, in the Katakana alphabet (which is used to spell foreign words and names) like this : トマト. The funny part is that, wherever you are, for all edible goods, the typography is always elaborate. So that's what we can read :



Voilà, donc ça, c'est "tomate" en japonais. Maintenant, et c'est là que ça devient vraiment amusant (mais si), voilà dans quel sens j'ai vu mes tomates en les rangeant :
