Captain Kangarooooooooooooo!

When I came back to Japan with my new visa (not so new now), I settled with Amandine. As we worked at different times, I had the opportunity to go out at night after my work, and one night, we met in an australian style bar in Umeda after her work to have a drink. It was the Captain Kangaroo, and I didn't knew at that moment that I would come again so often here...
It happened quite quickly actually, especially because the waiters (and waitress) are cool (here they are : Gō, Hashi, Hiroshi, Yuko, Han, Maiko, Taro, Taka et Shō), so we went several times during two weeks, after Amandine's work, then during a weekend we met some friends there, and the next weekend, we came with more friends just to have a drink, and by chance, we saw a concert of a nice band : Frying Dutchman.

From this moment, I went to this bar many times a week, with or without Amandine, who also became a regular. We spent a lot of time to talk with many people, from the staff or just customers, we met many great japanese and foreigner people (and others less great but we don't care about them), and the time passed even faster... And now, if I don't go there at least once a week, it seems strange to me, this bar became like a second house and I know a lot of its residents, some of them are now very good friends! It's in their apartment we stayed when we went to Okinawa in december, and we saw the new Cafe Kangaroo in construction. It's with them we had a huge barbecue in october, and with their help that I could organize a big part of it (I'll have to talk about this barbecue). We had so many wonderful moments in this bar with them, and with everybody, and it's because of them we don't know so many bars in Umeda... But what can we do? They're so nice, their Roo Burger is delicious (my mouth is watering juste thinking about it!) and we just feel home... Also, I love the colors in this bar!

Ah mais je la veux cette photo!!!
